When I asked for donations to help finance a plane ticket home, the most I was expecting was to perhaps get enough to cover half the ticket. ...I was not expecting to have the entire price of the ticket covered within a week, with some to spare. A HUGE thank you to everyone who donated...some donated a little, some donated a lot. Of course the big donations are especially appreciated, but ALL donations are appreciated all the same. You certainly didn't have to give anything, and I am very grateful for your kindness.

So I'll be going home for a week in late March. The cows better prepare themselves, their worst enemy is coming back.

With the remainder of the money, I'll put it towards anything I can for the site, and use it to help get a new computer. My current one is starting to show the signs of age...it won't be long before I have to put it out to pasture, ie give it to my folks. If you think that's bad, my parents are currently using a computer circa 1999, so really, anything more advanced than a Texas Instruments calculator will be a huge upgrade for them).
